Akdem Copyright and Translation Agency participated in the Sao Paulo International Book Fair in Brazil in its 26th session!

Akdem Copyright and Translation Agency participated in the 26th session of the Sao Paulo International Book Fair in Brazil, which was organized between 2 and 10 July 2022. The opening ceremony of the fair was attended by a crowd of diplomatic personalities, representatives of Brazilian cultural institutions and bodies, intellectuals, publishers and writers from different countries of the world.

The Sao Paulo International Book Fair, which is not only held in the fourth largest city in the world, but also in the most culturally and artistically rich city in South America, celebrated the selection of Portugal as the guest of honor of the 26th session of Sao Paulo International Book Fair for reference, given the richness of Portuguese culture with many illustrious names in culture, poetry and literature, and this selection constituted a distinct addition to this session.

As regards to Akdem Copyright and Translation Agency, in this program, which is a unique opportunity in terms of introducing the Brazilian and international publishers’ publications and presenting the ideas that work as a catalytic for evolving in the publishing industry and its future, Mr. Emre Can Petek, the agency’s coordinator, participated by giving a conference and exchanging visions and ideas with publishers and those interested in the field to the publishing community in Turkey and the world.
