A delegation from Akdemistanbul Language Center and Akdem Publishing visited Yangi Asr University, one of Uzbekistan’s leading higher education institutions, and held a comprehensive consultation meeting with the university administration.

During the meeting with Rector Bakhtiyor Ishandjanov and Head of International Relations Otabek Abdullaev, the delegation was briefed on the current state of Arabic language education in Uzbekistan, the university’s undergraduate and graduate programs, and its international academic activities. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on future cooperation in education, academic cooperation, and educational publishing.

The delegation included Dr. Muhammed Ağırakça, General Director of Akdemistanbul Language Center, and Gülnara Yakupova, International Relations Coordinator. Representatives of Akdemistanbul Language Center and Akdem Publishing presented Türkiye’s experience in Arabic language education, teacher training programs, Turkish language instruction for international learners, and the educational publishing activities of Akdem Publishing. The Miftah Al-Arabiyya Series, which will soon be published in a special edition for the Uzbek market, was also introduced.

Discussions covered a wide range of topics, including the development of joint educational programs, the enhancement of student and academic staff mobility, the implementation of academic and cultural projects, the strengthening of cooperation in educational publishing, and collaboration in international events and initiatives.

As an important reflection of the growing educational and cultural ties between Türkiye and Uzbekistan, the meeting highlighted the mutual commitment of both parties to developing concrete projects and further strengthening their cooperation in the future.

The delegation of Akdemistanbul Language Center and Akdem Publishing expressed their sincere appreciation to the administration of Yangi Asr University for their warm hospitality and reaffirmed their commitment to future collaboration in the fields of education, publishing, and academic cooperation.
