Akdemistanbul Organizes a Mock YÖS Exam to Boost International Students’ Readiness

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Akdemistanbul held a comprehensive mock YÖS exam with the participation of 70 international students. The exam was organized under the supervision of the YÖS Department, led by Mr. Akram Zain, and was conducted at the academy’s main campus. Lasting two hours, the exam closely mirrored the official YÖS (Foreign Student Examination) in both structure and difficulty level.

The YÖS exam is a crucial requirement for many Turkish public universities and is specifically designed for foreign nationals who aspire to pursue higher education in Turkey. It primarily tests mathematical reasoning and IQ, serving as a gateway for academic admission.

This mock exam aimed to enhance students’ academic and psychological readiness, offering them an opportunity to experience real exam conditions, become familiar with question formats, and improve their time management strategies. Participants expressed their appreciation for the initiative, noting that it significantly contributed to their confidence and exam performance.
