The DÖGM Arabic Language Skills Teacher Training Program Has Concluded
The Arabic Language Skills Teacher Training conducted in collaboration with DÖGM has been completed.
The training was organized in partnership with the Ministry of National Education’s General Directorate of Religious Education, aimed at improving foreign language education in Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools and Imam Hatip Middle Schools. This initiative sought to enhance the professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes of teachers who teach Arabic language courses and vocational Arabic courses in these schools. The Arabic Teacher Training Summer Program, which began in January under the Arabic Teaching Development Projects, concluded with a certificate ceremony.
In the Arabic Language Skills Teacher Training, 100 teachers from Arabic and vocational subjects received 180 hours of training in spoken Arabic, practical Arabic, and modern standard Arabic.
Out of these training hours, 84 were conducted through online Arabic classes, and 96 hours were held face-to-face as part of the summer program.
The training took place from July 8 to 20 at Yalova Zehra Ekşinozlugil Girls’ Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, with sessions held six days a week, for eight hours each day.
The certificate ceremony for the Arabic teaching training was attended by İhsan ERKUL, Head of the Department for the Development of Educational Environments and Learning Processes at the General Directorate of Religious Education, Muhammed AĞIRAKÇA, General Manager of Akdemistanbul Language Education Institutions, Course Manager Serap ÖNGEL, and Academic Coordinator Kazım AĞCAKAYA.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to our teachers.
