16th Overseas Jordan Arabic Program Successfully Completed

The Jordan Arabic Overseas Program, held from July 7 to August 10, 2024, garnered great interest from Turkey and abroad. A total of 97 students, including participants from various universities in Turkey, as well as from Russia and the UK, took part in this intensive training program.

The students had the opportunity to deepen their language skills through this program, which included 143 hours of in-class Arabic courses and 100 hours of practical training, offering them a unique experience with the Arabic language and modern standard Arabic.

In particular, as part of field trips, small groups of 5-6 students were formed, each accompanied by a mentor teacher, to allow for more intensive practice. These trips, held four times a week, enabled students to use their language skills in a natural environment. During the Arabic learning process, “Students of the Week” were selected to increase dynamism each week, and at the end of the program, various awards were given to 10 students who demonstrated outstanding success.

A Rich Experience Enriched with Education and Practical Work

The language camp, held at the Islamic Science University, brought together students from over 20 universities and schools across Turkey, once again emphasizing the academic and cultural importance of Arabic. The program offered participants not only the opportunity to improve their conversational and practical Arabic skills but also to broaden their intellectual horizons and better equip themselves to face future challenges.

This program offered our participants a valuable experience in improving both their conversational and practical Arabic skills as well as their academic perspectives.
