Ahmad Al Ruhban was born in Damascus in 1981. He graduated with a BA in Arabic Language from the University of Damascus in 2004. He got his MA in Arabic Language Teaching in 2009 from Khartoum International Institute and his PhD in Language Education from Damascus University. He worked as a member of the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus - Higher Institute of Languages from 2009 to 2013, and as a lecturer at the University of Marmara - College of Islamic Sciences from 2014 to 2018.
He has been working as the Academic Coordinator of Arabic Courses Language Center -since 2013- and as the Director of the International Relations at Akdemistanbul since 2017.
Being certified as an international Arabic teaching methods trainer for non-Arabic speakers, he has participated in many international conferences, workshops and symposiums.Furthermore, he has authored many books and co-authored five educational series.
